Question from Bill Carnahan in Toledo, Ohio:
Shelly, I’m in a rut…it seems like
there aren’t any runs out there. I feel like my business is slipping
away. Do you have any advice?
Bill, this has been a tough 3
quarters in our country, no doubt. We do see runs picking up, though,
and it’s the Owner Operators who have kept themselves in the forefront
who are getting them.
I’ve talked about networking before
so I probably sound like a broken record, but the guys I see getting
most of the runs are simply very visible people in Expediting. That
means they know a lot of people, so they stay busy. Look for ways to
personally communicate with others in our Expediting Community.

I can’t think of a better opportunity than the Expedite Expo Friday and Saturday, July 24th & 25th in Wilmington, Ohio. It’s where everyone meets one another to network, and also where you can receive a lot of free advice on improving your business.
I’ll be there both days and available to anyone who wants to discuss opportunities with various carriers as well the best way to structure Expediting Insurance. Hope to see you there!
