The dealership recently introduced a brand new sleeper to the expedited market, a 96" unit designed by Heath and his co-workers and manufactured locally to their exacting specifications. Appropriately, it's called "The Georgia Classic."
In fact, at the Expedite Expo in July, Heath accepted a plaque awarded to Middle Georgia Freightliner-Isuzu for "innovation and imagination" in bringing this sleeper to market. "My grandfather started this business with a 2-bay shop and 4 employees," Heath says, "and now we're up to 16-bays with over 40 employees. And, we're still growing!" Before he founded the business, my granddaddy was a trucker and he wanted to establish a company that served the truck buyer better than anywhere else."
